Programming Handheld Devices Community of Practice - a new mini Ning

I just created a new mini Ning to support independent school students and
teachers who are learning to program handheld devices.

Handheld computers (iPhones, Android phones, iPads, etc.) are becoming
increasingly important in education. This new site is a place where those
interested in learning to program them can come together to share ideas and
support each other.

Since students are involved the site is invitation only, so please email me
if you would like to receive an invite.

As an aside, setting up the site took just a few minutes and will cost my
school $20 per year (or $2.95 per month if you want to do monthly billing).
It seems to me that's a pretty reasonable deal and one that most schools can
easily afford, even in quantity. I continue to be amazed that we continue to
think we should be able to receive high-quality web-based services for free.
